Wayne tagged me for the 7 Things About Me Meme, so I’ll try to take a shot at it again!

  1. As a kid and teenager, I never wanted to have kids or get married. Ever. Blew that one ;)
  2. After I had my daughter, I certainly didn’t want any boys. Blew that one times 2.
  3. Dh and I decided to only have one kid together when we first got married. Blew that one, too.
  4. My major in college was psychology, though I was thinking about psychiatry as well. I dropped out when I got married, but plan on finishing my degree when the kids are all in school…in 5 years.
  5. One degree I was thinking was law… to be a child advocacy lawyer.
  6. My favorite day of the year is our wedding anniversary. Christmas (season) is second.
  7. Somehow, chocolate blizzards from DQ help my migraines…I haven’t figured out if that’s bad or good.

I’m going to tag some others I consider OL friends, but not the full seven as law requires. If you’ve done it or I’ve already tagged you and you want to skip it, it’s ok :D

I was thought about a law degree but then decided I did not really like school so 3 – 4 more years – not for me! Good luck!

That’s so funny, about the blizzards and the migraines. (As much as anything related to migraines can be funny.) A friend of mine gets similar relief from McDonalds fries, would you believe.

I’d call that a blessing. If only the cure for things were a Blizzard from DQ…lol

Thank you for thinking of me. If you find out what it is about blizzards, let me know. I don’t have a DQ near me so need to find substitute treatment.

    1. When I was young, none of my friends wanted to get married or have children. I did. All my childhood friends ended up getting married and having children LOOOONG before me. Ironic, isn’t it?
    2. I hated being pregnant so much. I’m not looking forward to doing that again. I will, in the interest of having a sibling for my daughter. I don’t care whether the next is a girl or boy. My husband wants a boy.
    3. Husband and I agreed on having 2-3 children. Still too early to tell if we will meet that goal.
    4. My major in undergrad was Sociology, concentration Marriage and Family.
    5. I then went to grad school (masters in public administration) and law school (juris doctor). I had all kinds of plans for all the people I was going to help, including children. Then I started practicing and saw the real deal. I’m more skeptic now, but hopefully, I’ve helped someone.
    6. My favorite day of the year is Oct. 23rd, my daughter’s birthday. I just get so sentimental.
    7. I recently started drinking green tea to get rid of migraines. It’s working like a charm. I haven’t had one all month, including that special time of the month.
