It's payback. They now get to watch their children get tortured by the grandchildren, and we've heard the research that says good, consistent laughter is good for your health. They hear our stories, our complaints, our trials and tribulations, and they just sit back and snicker. Who says revenge isn't best served cold? Good luck convincing your parents. I like your philosophy. Maybe I'll try that with my parents. I'm with you. My little one makes me feel old too. It's hard work trying to keep up with a 4 year old. I should have had kids in my twenties instead of my late 30's.
