Wa-hoo, I’m done with my Christmas shopping!! Dh, the kids, my parents and dh’s are all done! Dh has his sister/bil left to do, but that shouldn’t take long. He likes to do his shopping on line; he hates the crowds this time of year.
I’m sure there might be something to buy or someone that pops up between now and Christmas, but the majority of it is finished…Oh, I do need to do stockings, but I already know what that’s gonna be and that’s last-minute anyway.
I usually do fruit, candy, a couple small toys for the kids, and cologne or socks for dh…But I’m curious…what do you do for stockings?
Congratulations! I am very jealous. We still have a few people left to do.

I’m about half-way done. My two brothers and I do not exchange anymore. It has just became such a hassle so we finally made a pact not to. We buy for our mom which is pretty easy. We are also scaling back this year and my daughter will only get a new perm this year (which will not be a cheap little giftie) and a stocking because we are helping her towards her trip over spring break. For her stocking I do a lot of little things and candy. One must is chocolate coins; we’ve always done that and she would be disappointed if we didn’t.

Ha! I forgot about stockings. I haven’t done that in so long. I remember stuffing them mainly with candy and small knick-knacks (ie. keychains, candles, refrigerator magnets…)

Well first, they’re hung with care.
I usually do gift cards for the stocking, or little doo-dads that she may want. Also, both kitty’s and the dog have a stocking full of treats and toys for them. They dig it.

I’m halfway done as well but I already know everything I’m getting for everyone. For stockings this year I am doing movies.
Way to go! I am close but not yet finished!
