My dd had a blast at outdoor school…got stuck in a bog for a few minutes but that’s the worst that happened. My mom had a great time, too. The refinished room is done!! I’ll put up pics tomorrow or Tuesday am. Dd loves it. My parents will be coming back early next year…we’ll be attacking the living room, floor to ceiling. (can’t wait!)...

My dad decided that while we were redoing my dd’s floor, it would look good repainted, too. And while we were at it, might as well paint the trim! More work! This week I got news of a man in church that had passed away. He was only 62 but developed severe Alzheimer’s. He was a very generous, kind, happy-go-lucky man and at the end was nothing like his former self. I bawled at the funeral, not because I knew him well, but because it’s sad to see someone like that go. But I guess...
